It’s very important to be sure you are "Warmed Up.” Get your muscles stretched and loose so not to pull a muscle or injure something because you haven't stretched out enough to swing a golf club. I have stated before, when you go to hit balls, whether it be to warm up for an upcoming round or just to practice, start with the shortest club and hit the Driver last.
You are not loose enough to swing that Driver when you start your practice or warm up. Get everything stretched out, then hit the Driver. A stronger core and stronger legs can help distance. You are able to turn faster with the hips and push off with your legs better if they are in better shape.
There are several machines in our workout room that can help with strengthening your legs, hips, and core.
Go to Google and type in "Cable machine workouts for golf.” There are several to choose from, so pick what works best for you. This can help anyone get more flexible and gain those few yards we are all looking for....Good luck and Stretch it Out!
